Many companies are going GREEN for customers concerned about environmental responsibility. The publishing industry leads the effort to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Using recycled papers helps reduce landfills, saves trees and protects our watersheds.
Although we would like to say that every book and card from sj publishing is completely produced from recycled paper, this is not so. We do support printers and other vendors who respect Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI). We know that FSC-certified papers promote well-managed forests where people, wildlife and the environment benefit from the forestry practices.
A reminder to us at all times to respect trees and forests while simultaneously producing items that require paper.
