The date
11.22.2004 seemed an appropriate time to send this, the first in a series of
free newsletters for those who received a complimentary copy of Number Synchronicity or have already
obtained a copy on their own.
The purpose
of the newsletter is to share marketing and promotion activities, comments and
reviews, and inform you of upcoming events. As time goes on, I anticipate the
nature and content of the newsletter to evolve.
Marketing and Promotion
Number Synchronicity has been out for only two months.
During that time, I have walked around

Similar
postcard announcements were sent to friends, neighbors, metaphysical
colleagues, and more than 150 bookstores across the country.
§
Thanks

Valley Branch, two copies have been added to the shelves of the San Francisco

Complimentary
copies were left with managers of Valencia Street Books, A Different Light, and
Crystal Way Metaphysical Center in

To
save trees and money, I produced a limited edition of CD-ROM version of Number Synchronicity. This PDF version
of the book can be read with Adobe Reader and is ideal for blind or visually
impaired individuals. Believe it or not, there are some people who would rather
read on a computer or with an e-book reader than curl up with a book and flip
pages. Several sighted and blind people have already received copies of the
CD-ROM version.

I
attended a book reading for Writing the
Future: Progress and Evolution, a book published earlier this year by The
MIT Press which featured one of my photographs, Buddha on Ice. Many of you
are familiar with this photograph, and some of you have a print of your own.
The photograph accompanied a story entitled “The Abundance of Less” by Andy
Couturier who was one of the readers and he kindly inscribed my copy of Writing the Future. While there, several people
inquired about Number Synchronicity and
I distributed information.

I
attended the annual Lit-Quake Festival in San Francisco which took place in
several locations over several days, offering numerous opportunities to network
and pass out postcards and bookmarks to interested readers.
§
Offering
a prediction of the 2004 presidential election, I distributed an article
“Picking a President by the Numbers” based on the numerology of candidates
vying for the 44th presidency. Unfortunately, my prediction was
wrong. However, I did note why 2004 and 2005 are fortunate years for the
current 43rd president.
§
My
monthly meeting of MECHANIX POETS at the Mechanics’ Institute (

has organized events taking place at

A
review of online bookstores revealed that Number
Synchronicity is now available from the following online stores that also
