Illustrator Pic - Carlos SandovalAbout the Illustrator
Carlos Sandoval
refers to himself as a fashion artist; his colleagues call him a fashion magician. His designs result in attractive, playful attire featured on the catwalks of San Francisco fashion shows.  About the Veterinarian
PIC OF VET K KELLY JONES DVMK. Kelly Jones, DVM
graduated in veterinary medicine from Kansas State University in 1994. She owns and operates a cat hospital in Wichita. People often ask, “Does this mean you don’t like dogs?” And she replies, “Of course not! I love dogs, too! I just happen to have a special interest so I can dedicate my practice to one species.” Dr. Jones is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Feline Practitioners, Kansas Animal Disaster Team and the Association for veterinarians for Animal Rights. She is the founder of Pets in Crisis and winner of the 2005 Wichita Police Department Volunteer of the Year Award.  Dr. Jones is often interviewed and quoted in “Cat Fancy” magazine.

The stories in Crazy Cat People were inspired by actual events at her cat hospital.

Names have been changed to protect the reputations of the cats.
